bizbjr Fri Jul 30 01:03:45 PM Ok Pops don't listen to anything my dad may have to say on the subject of smacking or weird looks. Reply |

BizB Thu Jul 29 02:19:38 PM I miss you!
Give Aunt Rose a hug/kiss for me. Oh, and smack Uncle Ron on the ass and give him a weird look.
This place has become quite boring. Reply |

ferretmom Tue Jul 27 11:27:50 AM When will you have all of the materials and be ready to begin glassing? Reply |
BizB Mon Jul 26 08:16:24 PM The site for kite spars and other replacement parts is, GoodWindsKites.com.
When are you going to be able to help me with my fiber-glassing project? Reply |
ferretmom Fri Jul 23 08:42:01 AM Hey, BizB - what's the site for picking up more kite spars? You know my specialty right now is crashing Reply |

BizB Thu Jul 22 08:55:43 AM Close. It is a water-sport. Rather than a skateboard, I'll be using a wake-board-like board.
Stupid typo in the link. I'll fixorate it later.
Meanwhile, HERE IT IS Reply |
pbsaurus Wed Jul 21 06:20:38 PM Wow! That's huge. The link didn't work so I assume kiteboarding is a skateboard using wind technology as propulsion, or am I way off? Reply |
BizB Wed Jul 21 07:42:32 AM I started building my kiteboard last night.
I'm doing a pictoral step by step so I'll have that as an update, sometime. Reply |
thumper Sat Jul 17 07:47:16 PM I have to admit...I had fun flying the kite. I will still probably spend more time on my beach chair than flying but it was a good time. Reply |
BizB Sat Jul 17 05:30:32 PM I got the fuel into the air today with some help from ferretmom (Thanks ferretmom!)
I did eat a bit of sand as I was dragged for 20 feet or so on the first try. Thumper got some pics of that... they'll be up soon enough.
Then, the second flight, I had no problems . I was able to steer it around the wind-window and power/de-power the kite at will. I can't wait to get into the water.
I avoided the water today because it was mostly an on-shore wind and I didn't have any experienced help nearby. Reply |
BizB Fri Jul 16 09:56:14 PM And, probably another tomorrow! Reply |
