a rainy day today but big storms in the Tampa area and further east from there. This is supposed to last until 4 p.m. Will get a lot of reading in today.
Weight loss not going very well this time. I guess we just like to eat too much. It is so hard when we have so many favorite places to go. And tomorrow is 5/5 - another day of celebration!

'Cia - isn't it strange how they just can't do without us? Even with all the punishment we hand them.
Getting a bra for my car today - maybe that way people can see it is not black. That "lava" is strange - sometimes it is purple, sometimes dark brown and / or black. Must get going now. Love to all -

Not only did I get the card for BBCK, but I also found the St. Patrick's day card!
I knew I had taken it to Indiana. It was in the map that I had taken just in case.
I can't say for sure how the project went. I think I gave him a good head-start, though.
I went kiteboarding over by Maplewood school at Brick Long Field last evening. It was a blast! I had been out there for about an hour dragging my sorry ass back and forth across the field when I noticed that a cop had parked next to the truck and was watching me. After a few more passes, I parked the kite and went over to see if I was in trouble. As I approached the cruiser, he waved and said, "You're okay... I was just watching. That's very cool... I could watch you all day." And he did just that for another hour or so.

If helping BigBro write a database application in Excel qualifies as "playing" (in my book it does), then yes... I was playing today.
I'm considering going out to play on the kite right now, but there's still smatterings of rain in the area. And, I gotta figure out what to do about food for the day.

Hi Homosassa folks! Mom visiting with me this weekend and I am enjoying every minute of her company. We did lots of shopping. 
I'm searching for a pair of shoes I'll probably never find, but that's the story of my life. I get an idea in my head (not from anything I necessarily saw) and then can't find it.
Off to NYC next weekend. I'm looking forward to that as well. Then the big countdown begins to my Italy/Germany trip. Woo Hoo!

All fine here in Homosassa. Cloudy today but no rain during the daylight hours so far.
We will be celebrating cenko d'Mayo (spelling ???) by going to El Rancheto for lunch this week. Yummy!!
