Betty Boop Sat Jul 02 10:49:18 AM SOPOPS is no longer restricted to a sling. He can drive now, I get to rip off the steri-strips on Monday!! FUN FUN He starts his phisical therapy on Tuesday. Back to see the bone man oin a month.
Not much going on here - a cookout tomorrow though. We are going to get a cuban sandwich or fish & fries from Marguerita Grill for lunch.
Don't tell BBCK but I was able to get her a watch today, (she admired mine). I was surprised at the number of booths open at Howard's today. Gobs of people too just strolling around.

'Cia Wed Jun 29 02:08:10 PM That reminds me...I forgot to give you the Italy pizza update. Pizza in Italy has the taste I know and love. It is a thin crust and very yummy. In most places it is served as a personal pizza (but is large enough for two). However, there are places, quite a few in Rome, that sell by the slice.
Also, there is now a new pizza place in the Franklin Park Mall that is pretty good. You can buy it by the slice! And, just last night I had pizza from a place called Wing Station (I think) and I would have to say it is the second best I've had in Toledo. First is now the place in the mall.
That Chicago style stuff and the pizza places like Papa John's and others sell is not pizza as the Italians know it. Reply |
Betty Boop Wed Jun 29 01:14:28 PM POPS asked me to let you know that he is doing fine except that he is older than dirt. He did a bit too much typing this morning and is a little ouchie right now. We are just sitting the lanai reading - enjoying the summer showers. Went to Dunellen (Rainbow RIver) for lunch. Pops had his hearing aides cleaned and we ate PIZZA!

Betty Boop Tue Jun 28 09:30:18 AM Not sure about the recovery time exactly. He sees the Dr. on Fri. It ended up being the same surgery that he had last year on the rt. shoulder, so I expect the same therapy process.
Cia - thanks for the update on Brooke. She saw the Dr. yesterday but we didn't get hoped for ultrasound and new picture, so we thank you for the "radiant" input. She tells me she feels great too. Some people are very lucky!!
I hope fer gets the trip to FL so I can get some fer hugs. I miss him.
Son - you are such a good guy - thanks for the duck care Reply |
'Cia Tue Jun 28 08:24:53 AM BB and sopops...had dinner w/ 'fer and Brooke last night. We had a nice evening as always. Thought you would like to know Brooke looks wonderful. She is radiant. Being pregnant agrees with her.

Talix18 Mon Jun 27 01:02:55 PM You did this, in the "not actually providing any DNA" way. I'm glad Momma Duck appreciates your effort.

BizB Mon Jun 27 12:49:40 PM I would have called if you would have told me when the surgery was. ...maybe.
I'm glad all is well. What's the difference in projected recovery time now... since it was a full-blown surgery?
Love you both! Reply |
Betty Boop Mon Jun 27 12:39:08 PM They are so cute - I hope you are proud of yourself! I'm proud of you too.
Dad did just fine but they were not able to do it orthoscopically but had to do an open repair of a torn rotator cuff - thus it took about 1.5 hrs longer than anticipated. We got home at noon and I am going to do my best to keep him quiet. Wish me luck.
CBH called at 12:30 to see if he was okay. He is quite a kid you know. He also told me they forgot to schedule another ultrasound so there are no new pictures of baby.
Will chat this evening, okay. Love - Ma Reply |
