Last night, I finished The Stand (extended version). I thoroughly enjoyed about 80% of the book. There were a couple of story lines that I could have done without, but... I'm glad I read it.
Talix told me this morning about 2 of the actors that were in the TV adaptation of the book and I'm VERY happy that I hadn't seen it before I read the book.
  • Molly Ringworm?
  • Rob Lowe?
  • Matt Frewer (Max Headroom) as Trashcan Man?
    I'd like to see a big-screen version of this book, but for the love of all that is good and right in the world, get a real casting person for the movie!

    Roadrunner, his ISP. Seems his connection drops after his computer has been idle for a while. However, the same doesn't happen to mom's computer and she's on the same modem. A reboot seems to fix it, but I don't understand why it's affecting dad, but not mom. Thoughts?

    I honestly don't think this is an RR issue if it's not affecting both computers on the network.
