$2.81 looks great - the lowest we have seen is $2.88 and we were exc ited about that. I don't think we will have any trouble with gas on our trip. Gettign excited.

I'm dealing with it. I have another appt at the chiropractor today at 3:15. I've been doing lots of crunches and running about a mile a day. That seems to help. Oh, and stretching, too... lots of stretching.

Yes. I'm home now. I got here at around 3:45 this afternoon and I promptly took a nap until sometime after 5.
I don't think Cadence slept, but she didn't leave my side. She missed her daddy.

Biz says: The Banneker thing is an obelisk at a church near Tal's house. Mr Banneker was an early African American scientist. He build a wooden clock (all parts from wood) after taking apart a wrist watch and drawing the parts. The wooden clock/watch was 20 times the size of the model from which he drew the parts.
He lived and died near Tal's house. We found that obelisk just outside the church cemetary. Yes, we too enjoy browsing grave markers and wondering about the lives they remember.

OK I enlarged the picture to find out its a gravestone marker, I think!! Will not make any more fun of your picture as your Mom and I enjoy wandering thru old cemeteries and tring to imagine the lives of folks who are intered there. You should some day take a trip to Pennefield and go thru the Babtist cemetery whery Nanny and Grampa Cliff are buried.

OK what is a banneker?? Pete knowing you it would have to have a sexual conatation , and what little I know of Talix it would be astro physics or hesterical society stuff!! no matter what either one would fit into my interest span. Lived my life keeping physics in balance, but that was only in a three dimensional plane. As to keeping sex in balance, well, whatever.

The Kid just finally got news that he did get the job working with Jr at BB. I was wondering if he was ever going to get it.
San and I are looking to close with the construction loan next week. I can't wait. It will bring to a close one of the longest stretches in my life when I didn't know if something was going to take place.
We are commited now, with having bought the property. I just need the process to finish so that I can get the building part of the project going. I can handle all of that with no problems...

BB - I'm looking forward to meeting you too. I'm actually planning to be in your "neighborhood" next week. My mother and I are flying to West Palm to visit my grandparents, assuming the planes have fuel enough to get there and back.
I have to admit I'm nervous about BizB having enough gas to get home. I haven't seen any evidence of shortages around here yet, but who can say what the next few days will bring?

T - what a nice card you sent. Looking forward to meeting you in a couple of weeks - with the help of gasoline tankers! Many of our pumps are empty here in FL. We went out for breakfast this morning and we saw lots and lots of yellow bags over pump handles. We do know there isn't any regular gas left, just high test.
BizB - did Jr come through?
