I wish they would have done my study that way. I suppose if my OSA was worse, they might have done that. You don't know how frequent you were having Apnea, POPS?
They have heated humidifiers that you can add to your CPAP machine. I'm going to make sure that my Dr writes my script for all the extras, if my insurance requires such.
Did you leave with a CPAP? Do you have one that you can use for the time being?
I just got off the phone with my Dr's office. My next sleep study is 11/10, as I've mentioned. Then, they'll call in an order for a CPAP for me. Then, I have to go to the durable medical goods store and attend a class on how to use it (or demonstrate that I'm not an idiot). Then, I'll have a CPAP for home.

I just got a call from the dr's office - the echocardiogram was normal. Thank you God. I have a lot of years to stick around with hugs and smooches to deliver.
SOPOPS results didn't fool me at all - except for the restless leg thingy - I do know he has roaming hands though! Always has had!
'fer just called and he is going home and then go to cookies house. Worked a short shift today. Sounds very happy.

Hey Biz & Bro!
YOu are not alone in the sleep department. Had my sleep study last night and found out that I have apnea and restless leg syndrome. He told me if the first three hours showed up that I would need a CPAP machine he woul be in at 1:00AM and fit me with a mask, sure enough he was in at one and I was able to finish the night with the mask. It will take some getting used to, I will wait until the doc gets the results back and goes over it with me. The mask seemed to give me a better sleep although the air coming out was, it seemed to me, to be colder than the room air. As to the restless leg thing ; it dosent bother me, so I may not start taking any meds for it

my cribbage buddy is closing the gap. I think it is time to buy a new deck again!
The storm was all south of us - we had less than an inch of rain and very little wind. There isn't any sunshine yet but the worst is certainly over for us. Now we have to cope with the cold front which is keeping the storm away. It is less than 60 this morning so we are in jeans (poor us) and shirts with sleeves!

I just realized that I havent ssaid a word about our new arrival. I think the fact that I'm married to a great grand mother has left me speachless. Congats to both Cookie and Fer and much love to our new great grand child a beautiful little lady. Oh yes I'm still just Pops to all generations. You have made me a proud ol'Pops.

Thank you so much for posting these pictures. Yesterday was a great day. Mariah is beautiful and we are so proud of Brooke and Chris. They are going to be great parents. You are so right - she is the cutest thing in the world. Talk about a keeper!! So happy for all of you and wish I was there to give her a hug too. Other great gran will have to do my share of spoiling - that way, she can have the blame, not me!
Lots of phone calls starting early this a.m. Had to call N.B., Ontario, and will call B.C. later today. Then there are all of our friends too. They are all happy for you.
