I build a headboard for my bed. I spent as much on the materials for the headboard as I did on the rest of the bed. I had wanted to make the lip of the headboard extend above the level of the mattress, but when I was calculating things, I forgot to take into consideration that the mattress sticks up over the side rails. So, in the end, the bottom shelf of the headboard pretty much level with the mattress. I was, however, successful in my primary goal. To wit, creating a space for the CPAP machine. The additional shelf on top was part of the original goal, but not the primary goal.
Overall, I'd have to say that I'm happy with it.

yes, this wind would really push you along - i think you would love it.
bet 'fer has seen a few folks there at B B trying to get the X-Box. We have seen news blips of people camped out over night to be at the head of the line for those things so they can ignore their kids some more. I say that as they interviewed one man who is a dad and just has to have the newest games!! Little boy is so cute too.
You guys have a wonderful day tomorrow and we will be chatting. We refer to "Baby M" as "Miss M". We think the "Miss M" will be longer lasting than "Baby M". Is cookie going to help with dinner? I don't even know - do the kids know how to cook?
Anyhow, we love you and miss you. Karen & Jim are doing dinner for us and we will be doing Christmas for them. Works great. Hugs all around. Ma

Actually, we'ver got some nice wind coming tonight through Saturday.
I'm cooking (a lunch-time meal) for 'fer, cookie, bbck and myself. Baby M better be there, too. Fer doesn't work Thursday, but Friday he has to be there before the sun comes up.
We'll give you a call, for sure.

We - dad - are installing the last window today. Very windy here but not cold - just chilly for us.
Getting ready for turkey day - what plans do you each have? I would imagine 'fer has to work and big red too. I know that Friday starts the heavy season here but I am way ahead of the game this year. I took the boxes to the post office yesterday. Have to take care of the kids with boxes but the adults will be getting checks. Do not - I repeat - DO NOT - buy for us this year - we have all that we need and/or want. Do something special for your selves with the $$ - PLEASE.

I think she has me wrapped too. It was way too long since I held a little one like that. I think the last one I held was this little one's old man. God, Im getting old.

She is growing so fast. She will probably be walking at this rate by the time we get to see her next summer. What sweet pictures.

Last night, I went to bed at 10:30. I woke up at 3:30 and 7:30 for just a few minutes each time. I got out of bed at 8:20. I like that Swift mask 300 times more than the other one I had.
