We have sunshine today - chilly but at least the sun is shining.
We do miss your daily musing so much. We will be so happy when the holidays are over. Hope that will help you get over the blues.
Dad's knee is acting up and he is trying a brace for a while to see if that helps. The Dr. explained that the tendons tighten up after a surgery like his. I think he turned on his knee too and strained it a bit.

The sun did make it out for a while yesterday afternoon. BBCK and I took advantage of that sun by going sledding. She is so much fun to be around! We sure do enjoy some laughs together. Today, if the wind picks up (it's not supposed to) we'll go kite-sledding. If not today, then next week when we're both on vacation.
No, he didn't get anything done on his car and I'm not going to ask him about his efforts. It is his responsibility.
I know it's hard - first hand. I also know that he doesn't have a choice. Failure is not an option.

good morning from a damp, almost rainy florida. We looked at Toledo - did the sun ever make it through the clouds like it was trying to do when we were there (at the web site)
Did 'fer get his car going yet? Don't be too angry with him dad, it isn't easy being a kid with adult responsibilities. It is just as overwhelming for him as it was for you at the same age.

We agree T!! They are both precious, aren't they. We can hardly wait until May. You are going to be enthrolled too.
We hope 'fer can work out his problem. I assume biz told you about his latest episode. Wish there was an easy answer - but $$ crutches only go so far and young ones HAVE to learn to provide for themselves. He knew he only got a free ride if he was in school and we fully support that.
Biz - there is an e-mail for you. I don't think it is too early to prepare for this subject and hope this helps both parents.

Each of those views was taken at a different time of year, obviously. In the last one, you can see that the club-house nearest your place isn't even finished. Looks like you'd just had a storm, too - judging from the water color.
