My amazing girlfriend has given me a gift to remember. I thought, after having given her the NASCAR ride-along, she would have a hard time equalling that gift. I was somewhat wrong. She not only got me an equal gift, she blew my gift to her out of the water. Oh, sure, my gift to her was right on the mark, but all I really did was find something online and buy it. I didn't pour my heart and soul into the gift the way that Teri did.
This is what I'm talking about...
 
The amount of effort that went into this gift is beyond that which I can wrap my head. Not only did she write the poem, but she Photoshopped the picture to remove a logo (and more?), she downloaded the program to make the pattern for the stitching and then she sitched it all - INCLUDING THE PICTURE! Plus, she got it matted and framed. And, as if all that was not enough, to top it all off, the message in the poem is one of understanding and acceptance for my addiction... my passion.
Teri, you're amazing and I love you so big, I only hope you know. Thank you for knowing me. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for everything. |
