More Train Show Pictures 2006-02-07 |
As mentioned already, Talix and I went to a train show to see her step-father's Lego train display. Ed, Tal's step dad, has only been a Lego-maniac for a few years, but he's already made quite an impression in the Lego world. His creations are very detailed and very imaginative. Here are some pictures that I took of his display at the train-show. I'm not sure how much of this was Ed's creation, but I do know that he's capable of all of this and much much more.
The creator of this train station even took the time to build the inside of the station. There were people riding on the escalators and walking inside the building. I took a picture of that, but it didn't turn out well.
A corn maze. It's crazy little things like this that assure me that I'm nowhere near as creative as many people. Making something like this would never enter my brain.
The old lady who lived in a shoe done in Legos.
A Junk yard that even has rims hanging on the walls and a park scene complete with a waterfall and an airplane crash (far left side).

A Lego farm with so many little details that you could spend 10 minutes just saying, "Wow! Look, there's a __________, too!"

A train roundhouse. I couldn't see inside this one, but I'd wager that they even put people working inside there.

The bar scene from Star Wars? Well, R2D2 is inside... that much I could see.

A house on fire! This is one of Ed's creations.

A replica of a factory in Ellicott City. This is one of Ed's creations.
And, finally, here are some more pictures from the "N-scale" displays that amazed Talix and me. In the first one, there was even a snow skier that had fallen and was laying in the snow with his skis flailing in the air.

BizB Wed Feb 08 03:28:31 PM Maybe we should ask Martin von Haselberg his opinion on that.
I suppose that "doing crack cocane" is similar to cracking your co-worker's cane. And that's better than working your cane in someone's crack , I guess. Though, that could depend upon whose crack we're talking about. Reply |
BigBro Wed Feb 08 03:06:36 PM I guess is that doing bette is less addicting than either doing crack cocane or herion.
