Multi Part Update...
Part 1: Today I went snowboarding at Mt Holly with 5 guys I met through Red Sky. Aside from the time that I went snowboarding with BBCK, this was the first time that I've gone this season. It's freakin February... the END of February and I've just gone snowboarding for the first time. There's something wrong with that. Any way, I had a great time. I took the GPS along with me and recorded my tracks. I logged 8 miles of down-hill activity and the same up-hill on the lifts. I was pretty amazed by that distance. I was even more amazed by the max speed that I hit. According to the GPS, at one point, I went 38.3 mph! I'm sure glad I didn't fall at that speed. That would leave a mark.

Part 2: When I got home, there was a message on the answering machine from Best Kiteboarding. They called to let me know that the kite that I ordered is ready, but... not in the color I asked for. This actually works out for the better, I think. This kite company has a 30-day no-questions-asked even-if-your-dog-ate-it return policy. Since I have no good use for a kite for the next 2 months, I wouldn't be able to tell if the kite is everything that I expected it to be. I'd be unable to take advantage of that 30 day return policy if I was unhappy with the kite because I wouldn't know if the kite was crap for 2 months. So, I did the mature thing. I told them to delay my kite until they get the next shipment from China. They guesstamated that the next shipment would come in at the end of March or early April, but they weren't real firm on that. Plus, they weren't sure if the color that I ordered would be available in that shipment, either. Good thing the color isn't the most important thing.

Part 3: Why can't I be as neat and clean as I want to be?

Part 4:I think I'll take BBCK snowboarding this weekend.

Son, the stuff to 'fer was for his benefit, not yours. I know what you told me but "thanks gran" is not too hard to do . . .. but it is like pulling teeth for some young men. Your daughter does an excellent job

I won't know about the scan until the end of the week when we go see the doc again. I am anxious to hear too, you know.

2) Sorry to hear your shoulder is hurting. You're on the mend, though... right? It's getting better overall?
3) Let us know how that ultrasound goes. I worry when I don't have knowing.

Shoulder hurting today - I went to 2 meetings yesterday and both rooms were cold and so it has stiffened up. OUCH. I was doing so well too. I have therapy this afternoon but this morning - at 11 - I have to have another abdominal ultrasound. Our doc is trying to find out why i am having trouble a couple of hours after eating - I think I have narrowed it down to bread - gluten intolerance perhaps. Will see him again next week. I am just falling apart - but slowly.

He got a package from Overstock.com (I think) delivered the other day. I gave it to cookie when she dropped off MissMBH for me to play with.

I'm glad you're feeling better, BB.

As for sopops finding anything, he'll have to learn to move things at some point. Or, perhaps he could just go buy new every time?

not too sure of that either! Just starting to be able to into house cleaning up again and I have a lot to do but I must admit your dear old dad tried. He even folded towels but I learned that when I die, my dear bed won't ever be made again. I don't know how he will ever find anything again either. Oh well, he took great care of me and that is more important than any neat, tidy house.

'fer did you get your package yet? I got an order I placed the next day so it should be soon.
