Well, I finished the table. I didn't take pictures of it along the way because I was pretty sure it was going to look silly when I was done. My only saving grace is that, since I got the plans online and I never had to print them, there is no "Nortonesque" evidence laying around. So, in all its glory, here's the new table.

As you can see, the joints don't exactly line up perfectly. But, it is pretty rock-solid. It's rather large, but that will come in handy when all my friends come over.... HA! I kill me.

No update on the house this morning but I'll have to check this evening. Spent the weekend packing. Much fun.

Dad's surgery is over and we are home again. We won't see the dr. until Friday, so don't know what he found/did. SOPOPS has had his apple fritter which he always wants after surgery and is just about to be shuffled off to his La-A-boy - hopefully for the rest of the day. Wish me luck keeping him still! Will keep you informed.

thanks for the pics and the film strip. I can't help but think how great it is to be alive in this day and age with tech stuff that my Dad and Mom ever had. Polaroid was the a great thing for us and then there was the famous photo booths that gave us a lot of instant pics.

Yeah, I took her in twice. She didn't like it much. The air-temp is in the mid 90s and the water temp was nowhere near that, so it seemed quite cool. She wasn't happy about cold water.

Looks great considering you didnt have a table or cur off saw throw a table cloth on it and no one will be any wiser.
