Today, I sat around until noon waiting for the wind to come up. Then, I went to MBSP and played around in the kite field for 20 minutes. I had left my safety leash at home, so I didn't do anything interesting with the kite. I just had to put a kite in the air... it's been weeks.

Then, I went to the bank to get some cash so I could buy dinner. The ATM failed to dispense any money, though the receipt showed a $40 withdrawal. I called the bank and they said they'd credit the money back into my account. Since I wasn't about to try that ATM again, I went to Kroger where I spent $40 on... stuff.

I bought a pound of sausage (ground) and 2 dozen eggs, a bag of onions, on orange-pepper and some tortillas. I also got a steak (for tonight), some salad and makings for my Mediterranean salad.

I made up 14 breakfast burritos with the eggs and such. They're in the freezer, now. I did forget to add cheese to them when I wrapped them up, but I suspect that can be added when they're heated.

I had to make a trip back to Kroger for olive oil to finish up the Med-salad. Now, it's 6:20 and I need to cook dinner. I don't feel like cooking any more.

If you find you need a specific tool and instructions on what not to do with it the first time just give me a call. I'm an expert on what not to do in home improvement.

Oh - also, I don't remember any cheese in the breakfast burritos I have had.

Biz - I miss read the note from you - I thought 'fer was going to help you and SOPOPS corrected me . . that it was BBCK helping you. Glad she is learning too. BIG WHOOPS!

We are really benefiting from our windows. It will take a few years to re-coop the price but they have already paid for themselves in quiet and comfort in the house.

So glad you are teaching your son how to do things also - being a "go-for" isn't such a bad deal. We had no idea how much you guys were learning while helping out. We loved the pix of BBCK on the back porch the other night. You really get pleasure from the fire pit as well. We are so proud of our young men.

I am going to go buy some blown-in insulation next weekend and BBCK and I will install it. I figure I can get an R30 coverage for about $120.00.

I was pricing out windows while I was out and about, today, too. It may be time to start replacing mine in the spring. And, the house is begging for a coat of paint next summer.

I have no room to complain, though. I've seen bigbro's house.

It sounds like a productive day. The ground floor will save time in the morning but it won't be as roomy . . . bad pun.

Oh, and I'm contemplating moving my bed down to 'fer's old room.
