What else can go wrong? The tornado will hit and Pops can't run. lol Hope as the day progresses, things go better for you both. We are eating at 5:00. We usually don't start that late on Christmas, but 'fer works till 4 or 4:30 so we are waiting for him to get here before we get started.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OUR LOVED ONES
We are waking this Christmas morning under a tornado watch and the promise of very heavy rain, wind, etc in about an hour so I wanted to get this posted early for you all to read. I am sure we will talk later on. I have to prepare the meal for us and our friends which we will eat around 6 this evening. We will have a cocktail (wine) hour starting around 5. I will probably have to put POPS back in bed before 8. He is having a lot of hip pain - what else can go wrong?

Thanks for the new picture. Love that bundle of joy.
POPS doing some home therapy now and is experiencing some pain with it - mostly in his hip. The incision area looks great and he will get 30 - yes, 30, staples removed Wed. He can have a real shower on Friday. He misses that the most, I think. I suspect it will be the longest shower in 5 years! (When his other knee was done)

Drywaller's were working today. Yea!!!
After they've hung all the drywall we will need heat at the house before they can do the rest of the work. Now we will end up waiting on our GC to get things done in the right order, again. I've got no propane tank at the house to hook up to the furnace. Great!
The closet was all covered over and they didn't say anything about the framing or Alan's drywall work, so I guess that they've seen much more interesting looking framing in the past.
I'll be up at the house having more fun. Stop up if you want...

Like I told Tal on the phone just before we called it a night, I had fun. Besides, you said you'd help me with my blown insulation.
Did the drywall guy show up today? I'd have paid money to be a fly on the wall when he saw what we did in that closet.

Thanks for the help yesterday. I've got some more screws and nails to remove in the stuff we did before or the drywall contractor will be charging me for the work. I'll buy you dinner anytime you want. I owe you for a lot of little favors you've done for me and Froggie.
I'll buy pizza the next time we do movie night with BBCK. It's going to be a really fun one, but will have to wait until after we get moved back in to the house.
