Christmas started off quietly. I woke up at around 8am and headed straight for the coffee maker. Once I had a cup of joe, I made my rounds on the internets which were extremely quiet. Around 10 a.m., I threw some cinnamon rolls in the oven in preparation for BBCK's arrival. At 10:30, BBCK warmed my heart by walking through the door with a big smile. We chatted for a few minutes and then opened some gifts. BBCK got:
  • DVD Player
  • Make-up
  • Manicure kit
  • Hot Coco maker
  • Smores maker
  • A Jesse McCartney DVD
  • An outfit with a cute hat (see pictures)
  • A gift card for a Nintendo DS Lite (Coral Pink)
    I got:
  • Socks
  • Joe Boxer Jams/shorts/shirt
  • 5 Meter Kite
    After we opened presents, we played shuffle-board for more than an hour. I won. BBCK didn't like that. Lucky for me, BigBro and Froggy showed up before BBCK could make a (another) comeback. BBCK and Froggy played with BBCK's makeup for what seemed like for-EVAR! BigBro and I watched some kiteboarding video and chatted about... stuff. BigBro and Froggy brought BBCK a gift of 2 outfits (see phone pictures.)

    After a very nice visit with my brother and sister-in-law, BBCK and I took in a movie. We saw Night at the Museum with Ben Stiller, Mickey Rooney, Dick Van Dyke, Robin Williams, and Bill Cobbs. Great movie. I highly recommend it! It was entertaining for every age group from younger than BBCK to much much older than me. It had Robin Williams as Teddy Roosevelt for crying out loud.
    After the movie, BBCK and I enjoyed a chicken dinner with broccoli and mashed potatoes. It's 9:30, now and I think we're both ready for bed.

    Hi Everybody! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and all our New Years resolutions come true...if we are still sticking to them come February!!

    How are my favorite Floridans? Did you catch a tan for Christmas? Frick and Frack are out of hand - they act just like their father!! I, of course, is the angelic one...that was hard to say with a straight face!

    BBCK noticed today that all of the chocolate flavored candy canes are missing from the tree. We suspected Stupid had eaten them, but we had no proof. When we went to the movie, we moved a candy cane (regular flavor) down to a height that she could reach it. When we came home, that cane was gone.
