After having completed all of the tutorials for Flash, I took on a project of my own design. BBCK and I have wanted a score-keeper program for when we play rebound-bowling. So, that was the goal I set for myself. Here's what I came up with...

Some of the features of this program are
  • One touch score entry. When you press the number or 'x' or '/' the cursor automatically advances to the correct place. It detects the number of players based on the player-name field.
  • Strike - when you get a strike, a movie plays showing a strike
  • Turkey - when you get 3 strikes in a row, it shows a turkey
  • Reset button - The bowling pin on the right is the reset button to clear the scores
  • Player order on reset - The order of the bowlers is reversed when the reset button is pressed
The above is a completely functional score keeper. Go ahead and play with it and let me know what you think! I'd love to make it better, if there's something that you think would add to it. If you find an error of any sort, let me know about that, too!

That is what he keeps telling me while I lead the way!

I'm relieved to hear that it's nothing more serious.

Didn't he ever listen when he told me "Don't get old!"?

Well, it is nothing but arthritis - but bad arthritis. Doc put him on medication to calm down the nerves and gave him a cortisone shot. Surgery is the last resort but did not want to even consider that now because of his recent surgery. He are hoping for the shot to work. The meds too but he won't get that till tomorrow cause I didn't have his new script card and the thing cost $68.00 - so tomorrow it is.

Me too! Loved it. C's Webb was excellent too.

Ho, forgot to add yesterday - your pets certainly love you, don't they? Me too.

BBCK and I saw Night at the Museum. I'll probably buy that one when it comes out on DVD. It far exceeded my expectations.

Some of my friends here and I went to see Charlotte's Webb today. That would be a great movie date for you and BBCK. It was very well done - much better than the cartoon one. Animation has gone to a great new level!

Last week we saw Night at the Museum. Excellent!!

POPS is starting to mend more. Walks with the cane even! Now we have to get the back/hip thingy fixed. HUGS
