Betty Boop Fri Feb 09 02:47:00 PM Yes, POPS is feeling better today. He has walked quite a bit but not up to our usual 2 miles yet. Probably more than 1 though. He stated, when we got home from a trip to Inverness, that there had been no back pain all day and he has only taken a Tylenol. Sounds good, right? He has a call in about his CPAP machine but they haven't called him back yet. Reply |

BizB Thu Feb 08 03:17:06 PM I should have mine looked at. I used to dream a lot more than I have been recently. Though, since they just switched out my machine, I should probably wait a bit longer.
I had 2,500 hours on my old one. Reply |
BigBro Thu Feb 08 01:44:53 PM that CPAP machine keeps track of how you are breathing at night. The Dr just reviewed my settings and found that it was not working very well for me and changed the settings, increasing the pressure. Reply |
Betty Boop Thu Feb 08 12:20:45 PM The Dr. said we need to call them and have it checked. I guess "we" haven't had time yet. Reply |

Betty Boop Thu Feb 08 09:13:06 AM I didn't do too bad when he was all drugged up on the pain pills after surgery. Right now, we are even steven 3 - 4 for the month.
He is on Lyrica which mostly takes the tingly things away. It does make him sleepy though. He has a couple of naps during the day and then sleeps like a baby - a noisy baby - all night. I struggle for 5 or 6 hours sleep every night. Oh well, who ever said there was any justice. Reply |

BizB Wed Feb 07 10:32:57 AM What med did they put him on? Reply |
Betty Boop Wed Feb 07 10:17:32 AM We got back from the Dr. and his report is that he wants to do a nerve conduction test (2 weeks) and 2 weeks after that he will do a fasting blood sugar test. Pops has his annual physical already scheduled for 3/28 and he will make comparisons of every test then. Anyhow POPS is feeling ever so much better every day now. The E.R. MD had the right idea on what medication to put him on - it is working great except it makes him a bit hungry. Reply |
BigBro Mon Feb 05 01:23:39 PM What ever meds they gave him must have worked... How do I get some? Reply |
Betty Boop Mon Feb 05 12:04:57 PM we see the MD on Wed morning. I must admit he slept very well last night - the first since the surgery and thus I also slept very well too. Reply |

Betty Boop Sun Feb 04 09:59:50 AM And so sweet too.
I had to take pops to the E R last night - too much tingling in his knee and then all over. He said it was like 1000 fire ants all over him. We were only there from 12:30 to 4 a.m.!! It may be nerves, or neuropathy, or diabetes. He got some pills this morning and is to see our Dr. ASAP this week. The only advantage of being there until 4 is that we were able to sleep until 8 this morning! We are still tired and so won't be doing anything today but watch golf and or football. I'm well.
