Okay, today was session 35 on the year. Session 34 was posted over on that other site. We got to SS at around 1:30 and we were on the water shortly after 2. It was Ryan(K), Mark(W), Don(K), Paul(W), Ryan(W) and Brad(W) and me(K). Ryan(W) was the first in the water and the first out of the water... about 5 minutes later. Getting out beyond the pier is challenging unless you do what the (K)kiteboarders do; jump off the pier!

I racked up 22 miles of kiteboarding today and NONE of that was walking back up wind. Ever since I'd gotten the new board, I'd been struggling to go upwind with any regularity. Today, I put that beind me. I was driving upwind like it was my job and I was jumping pretty high, too! I didn't land many of them and one of the landings knocked the wind out of me. All in all, it was an EPIC day and I can hardly wait for the next day like this. Perhaps Sunday?

I wore the helmet-cam for about 30 minutes but 100% of the video is crap. It's shakey and most of the time all you can see is the clouds. I really need to get a better mount on the helmet if I'm going to use that as the platform for the camera.

I'm sorry there was no update. I'm having problems with uploading from my work laptop. There are 52 pictures that I need to upload. So far, I've been able to upload TWO of them.

I'm leaving in 20 minutes to go kiteboarding, so I'll try again this evening.

To the FL Grands --- We had a nice party and you will soon get a tape. The outfits you sent were darling. Wish you both could have been here. (And wish I were in FL - lol!)

We had Church's fried chicken, salad, cheesy potatoes and fruit salad, veggie munchies, chips, and cake and ice cream. I think Mariah had a good time.
