Last night, 'fer and the very pregnant Cookie stopped over on their way to the grocery store. I didn't ask why they were going to the Kroger all the way over here when there's one 1/4 mile from their house. Let us not look a gift horse in the mouth, right? We had a nice visit before 'fer asked if I'd watch MissMBH while they went shopping. Of course, I said yes!

We spent some time riding the desk-chair back and forth across the living room and we went out to the garage and looked at the new car. The rest of the time was spent drawing on the chalkboard in the kitchen.

I even took a few minutes to finish the kiteboarder that I started drawing last week. I wasn't allowed to stand up there where she couldn't reach for too long. She let me know that she needed me down where she was after just a few minutes. In order to get down to where she was, I kneeled at the chalkboard next to her. At one point, she decided that she needed to kneel like her Pappy. That didn't last long because she couldn't reach the blackboard at that height.

I hope I didn't start a bad habit because it's hard for a little one to distinguish between chalk and crayon and I suspect that a wall is a wall is a wall when you're two.

There was a pic of B right after the delivery. I saw it posted yesterday and was just going to send it to someone now, and for some reason, I don't see it. Is it gone or am I almost blind?

Henry will send you a dvd. fer has all of the previous ones that were taken so if you want to copy anything else, you can get it from him.

Yesterday was a nice get-together, even if you were a bit of a family troublemaker. lol A very happy, thankful day.

Rev, those are all the pictures that I have. Unfortunately, I completely forgot about bringing my digital camera, so the phone cam was all I had.

If you get your film developed onto CD, I would appreciate it if you would burn a copy for me. Those pictures need to be shared online!

I only have one more movie that I took which was too big to send in a message. I'll try to transfer and post that tonight.

Oh, my goodness, is she sweet. Now we have 2 little girls to drool over. I sure hope I don't loose any friends over my gushing but if I do, they don't deserve me!!

Henry & Rev - thanks for the tape in advance. You are the lucky ones to be able to celebrate this blessing with the kids. Even Pappy looks pretty happy in his pic and Rev. You look fantastic! (Happy pappy)

Another note to ask you, Biz, if you have the pic of H. with Nicole. I'd like to send it to family if you have it to post. I realize HE won't look as good as I look, but we'll suffer through it. lol I'd really appreciate being able to have it if possible. Thanks.

And so if you read my comments, you should know by now that when I tell you I "almost" look like a ten, that's when you should jump in and say, "Oh, no, not almost ----- you look great. You really do look like a ten! Yep - that's in the Bible from the Man Cave Sayings. Ya wanna be right or happy. You only have two choices.

I just updated the cribbage scores totals for the year - that means I will lose the next several games but with a month to go, maybe we can keep pops on his goofy pills for a while longer so I can keep ahead for the very first time ever.

I kick myself after I tell him about points he didn't count and then when he does the same thing for me, I am so very grateful. In cut throat playing, if your opponent misses points and you see them, you can keep them for yourself (Mulligan) but we play friendly (sometimes.

On the pics above, I love your story and you are so lucky to get this opportunity to watch your granddaughter. You and Andrea lived too far away for any of that - even if circumstances were different. Also, you are quite an artist. I love your kite surfer! The pics of Miss M are quite adorable. Maybe we will get a photo for Christmas?!?

Betty Boop: It looks like the snow will come Saturday night into Sunday morning. It could get really nasty early on Sunday. I'll be waiting with my kites for the rain to pass. The wind should be good once it warms up to the 40s!
