Session 2 Session 2

Bubbles went to Major Magics with her grandma, so I had the afternoon to myself. There was wind. The sun was out. It was war... ok. I'm not going to lie. It was cccccccoooollllddddd! Water temps around 40 and air temps not much higher than that - 44 maybe? - made for a chilly session. But, it was soooo worth it! Sorry I didn't call ya, Taz. It was spurr of the moment.

Seven miles logged and several really fun jumps. Grade - C+.

It is now 11:00 a.m. and 64 degrees here and 57 there so you are keeping up!! We have a strong wind our of the east o if you went kiting, you would be in TX before sundown!

You are so lucky to have come the week you did and not this week. We are COLD. You are just 2 degrees cooler than we are this morning - but we will probably be much warner than you by mid afternoon. BURRRR!

I have it figured out now why Biz takes the dog! We all have seen him run and it will only get better if he has someone along to call out cadence for him-we often wondered why the dog was so named.

It was fun. Maybe next time we pick a spot that'd allow you to bring your buddy along. I'd like that and I bet he would too. Btw if you ran every other day 4 times (soft surface + stretching after) the soreness would go away. Then 3 days a week running and maybe a day of cycling or that silly kite thing and you might stand a snowballs chance of staying with her this fall. I'm gonna keep pounding on that drum because I have my turban on and my clear bowling ball out and I'm not seeing anything but her tearing it up, Biz. Maybe you and Cadence can team up and stay ahead of the curve.

I'd like to thank coach td for inviting me to join him on his run tonight. I'd also like to thank him for pulling me along on the last 1/2 mile or so.

I feel pretty good now that I've showered and sat down for a few minutes. My calves were the only thing to hurt, once again. I should spend some more time stretching them before and after a run. Of course, running more often would help, too.

I'm game for a 5K!
I'm leaving the dog at home this time, though.

There's really no good way to carry it when running. Maybe after I buy the aquapack arm pouch that I want for it, I'll be able to track running sessions. Until then, we'll have to trust runningahead's map feature and our own memories.

Biz and I have a 'running session' scheduled for tomorrow evening. Although it won't be 7 miles and probably no jumping I'm wondering if Biz will wear his gizmoid to track our bipodular movement throughout Delaware park. How 'bout it Biz?
