By the time I was done, the wind had let up enough that I decided to pump up the 17 and give it a go. I was well powered to over-powered most of the time and I rode from 7:00 to about 8:30. There was a professional photographer there taking pictures of me and he said he would email them to me, but I haven't seen them, yet. Keep your fingers crossed.

Today, I took the 9 and 12 to Quantum during my lunch hour. They estimated $75 to $100 for each repair. I was kind of amazed when he said that he would probably have them done by the 23rd. That's fast turn around! Of course, if I do get them back by that date, the holiday weekend will be a bust. I need to order a new bladder for my 12 and I should have taken the old one out before I took the kite in. I did send an email to the customer service people at Liquid Force, the kite mfg. Hopefully, they'll get back to me soon with the correct size. That will likely add another $80 to the repair cost. So, it's right in line with what I expected. Feh.
