We had a blast with the girls last night. 'fer and cookie dropped off Thing 1 and Thing 2 at around 7:30 so that they could go catch a movie. After the standard set of instructions, they were gone for the evening.
They said they were going to see the new Narnia movie. Whether or not they did is their business. I only care that I got to play with The Things again. Bubbles and I finished eating our Taco Bell (Traditional Friday night meal after dance class) while
Thing 1 chowed down a Twix bar that her mother had packed in Thing 1's purse. After a short time in the back yard, Thing 1 had nothing on her mind but a bike ride. She kept pointing at the garage and saying "Bi Rie?" Bubbles did some
quick thinking and figured out a way that we could get everyone out of the house and satisfy Thing 1's need for a bike ride.
The plan then was to make a fire and have Smores, so we headed to the back yard, again. Thing 1 and I worked to get the fire going while Thing 2 tried really hard to play with the bigger kids.
A little boy who lives around the corner in Olivia's old house has quickly become a fixture in my yard. Bubbles invited them over last year some time to play on the trampoline. Ever since, they have our permission to come over and play on the trampoline or swings whenever they want. They're great people. The little boy came over with his mom to visit for a while.
The boys from down the street were also over. Their parents are splitting up and they're reaching out to old friends so that they're not bored when they're here, with their dad.
The Smores were a big hit with everyone except Thing 1. She picked it up with both hands. Then, just before she took a bite, she pulled her left hand away. This is when the trouble started. You see, her hand was stuck to the treat. It was just some melted marshmallow, but it was troublesome for her. She then spent the next couple of minutes switching
the Smore from one hand to the other spreading the goo all over and completely turning her off on the whole idea. She never did eat it.
There was much goofing around.

revitup314 Wed May 28 10:27:20 PM Oh, just stopped in to see if there were pics. Aren't they darling? We provide movie tickets once a month, but can't provide babysitting with my work schedule. Great Grandpa wouldn't be good on his own. How nice of Pappy to spend time with the girls so Mommy and Daddy can use the tickets and get time away. Thanks for posting the darling pics, Biz. I see they were having fun. Hi to FL greats. Reply
BizB Wed May 28 08:45:18 AM What's up? Nada. That's the problem.
Sunday, I mowed the lawn. I got in a lame light-wind kiteboarding session on Monday. My kites still aren't repaired. I worked on Tuesday. Tuesday evening I went out to MBSP in hopes of another lit-up session on the 17, but it was too windy. I did take pictures of Ryan & Mark, but I haven't gotten off of my phone, yet. Today is Wednesday. I'm wearing jeans at work. Reply

Betty Boop Sun May 25 08:19:43 AM I am incredibly happy this morning. We looked last night but I REALLY looked today. What beautiful girls (all 3)!!! And what fun you had pappy!! I can imagine the fun you all had laughing at the Smores being passed from hand to hand! She will catch on in a while.
Its another nice day here in paradise but we don't have much planned for the day. We have to run to the store for a few items but other than that you will find us on the lanai or at the pool come 3p.m. Not a bad life but someone has to do it.
