I'm so effing busy at work, I don't have time to even visit this site more than once and if I do, I certainly don't have time to type a reply.

It's 8:36 and I just got home having left the house at 8:00 this morning. Worked until 4:45 and then, as coach td pointed out, I drove straight to Luna Pier for some 20mph winds and 5+ foot waves. These are the days we wait for all summer long. I was lucky enough to escape dad duties today as Bubbles is staying the night at her mom's house. That way, she can ride the bus with her little sister in the morning making sure that everything goes well on her first time on the bus.

My schedule right now is wake up; do this; do that; do the other thing and then realize that the entire day is gone and it's time for bed. Hell, I still haven't eaten dinner, yet. And, it was about this time yesterday that I ate dinner, too.

bigbro and froggy stopped by at Luna Pier with the dogs tonight. They watched me ride for a while and froggy got some video which bigbro promised to email to me (or FTP... whichever). I'll post it when I get a chance. Tonight's riding was awesome! The waves were big, even though there was still a lot of chop. I finally got my timing right on my jumps right about the time that bigbro and froggy got there. Hopefully, they got a couple of them on video.

XC practice: Wow, that hour goes fast. I tried out a new game yesterday called Monopoly Run. I made it up and set it up and Bubbles's mom was kind enough to be my banker. I learned that 28 kids playing the game requires more than $7K in play money. I learned that these kids are patient with me. I learned that two water balloons can be worth up to $1,000 in an auction after the game.

Coach Sobie had some suggestions on how to improve the game. I'll put them in place for next Monday's game and see how it works out. Chaotic would be the best way to describe the game last night.

We have a spare room that you can use anytime the wind picks up!

We are watching Gustov to see where he is going. Then we have Hanna on his tail and then another after that they are keeping their eyes on. Quite different from last summer. We may have to pack up in a hurry with all our important papers and some clothes and head north somewhere. Where - that will be determined on what is coming our way and where they think it will go.

FTP is "File Transfer Protocol". It is just a way of moving data from one server to another across the internet.

I just saw this interview of Keven - The Idiot - Kearny who you may know from the TS Fay kiteboarding video. Someone needs to do an interview with a responsible kiteboarder to set the record straight. This twat needs to have his ass beat and he needs to stay away from the camera. He has single-handedly done more to hurt the sport of kiteboarding than anyone else out there.

Big Bro: You have achieved what I could never do and that is to get your foot out of your mouth with grace!! Loved your comments.

I thank you for getting on the ball again. That ball was getting really flat and you have inflated it again. Busy is one thing but neglect is another! :)

Froggie and I went out to Luna Pier and cought the kite board show. There was one other kiter out there and Biz. Also one Wind surfer (the board thing with the sail)

Biz should be able to post a very nice video of his session soon as I'm sending it to him via FTP right now. It's taking forever. 2 files at over 200Meg each. I'm sure he will be able to edit the video down to something managable without the out of focus stuff.

He had a couple of really nice jumps/lifts. His buddy out there with him could really haul his but into the air. I was impressed by both kiteboarders this evening.

He will be on a adreneline high for about 2 days from what I saw from the beach.

I wish I had the balance and coordination to do something like that, but sadly I've the physical coordination of my father, but with none of his grace. :)

As I type Biz is pounding the Luna Pier waves. The ne wind today in T town was strong all day and Biz had his car loaded and ready to rocket up 75 and spray into Lake Erie. We text sometimes during the day and he was like a spring trap ready for quittin' time. Running is different because it requires so little prep, equipment, and even less from mother nature. Visable tornado or lightning are about it for running limitations and those pass quickly. What's Biz on session 30 something? I run 12 to 20 times a month. I have a passion but I can pursue it almost anytime I please. Biz needs more of the world to align in order to "get some wave".
Coaching update: We really don't get to work together at all during the hour practices. We've tried to do games that include all groups but so far it hasn't happened. I have 6 to 10 7th/8th graders show while Biz had 28 last night. Our strength sessions and runs are longer and we just haven't got back in time to get in on the games. I have my wife/coach and 2 parent/coach/runner helpers along with 2 walking/parents. Biz has 3 parent/coach/runners along with several regular parent/runners to help out on the trails. You cannot have too many adult eyes on the kids. Part of the problem is the huge difference in the fastest to the slowest runners. Anyway Biz is in the groove now and their his hook, line and ice pop. I can go on and on..........Was this enough?...........
