Yesterday, Tom was sitting up and he was able to take food by mouth (broth/jello/juice) and keep it down! Bubbles grandma said the next surgery will be months out, not days.
Bubbles got to see him again. She said he was in good spirits and, "He was the grandpa I know."

There's no activity at the theater right now, so no acting for a bit. I think we're going to try to find a summer troop for her to join. However, we have to be aware of vacation schedules if we do.

Friday was not a good day for Tom. Saturday, it all turned around again. Today was even better. They were able to remove the tube from his throat. He's alert and responsive. They do still have some additional bowel to remove, but the Dr. want's to give him some time to gain some strength.
Keep up with the praying!

Certainly will do. Tell Bubbles if she wants to talk to me that I am just a phone call away. But then, she knows that. We will also pray for Grandma as she will need lots of prayers to get through this too. Please tell her we are sending her all the strength we have to give.
