New Specs

Wednesday, Bubbles and I went to Pinnacle and picked out a new pair of glasses since one of her siblings broke her other pair. We'll still get that pair repaired/replaced as a backup. However, since I have insurance that'll cover a new pair, we thought it best to have two. We had a lot of fun picking them. Of course, I think Bubbles and I could have fun picking one of you to be executed next.

I hope you got the glasses with hidden boy repellent. Let the specs do the work and keep Biz out of trouble with boy's parents and johnny law. If that doesn't work Biz can borrow one of my 10' poles with the red hot poker. Maybe even stick some homework on the end of it to make it even scarier. Boys beware!

Bubbles likes to play with them. Nobody needs the crutches.

She went with the one that I labeled, "She went with this pair" (The big pic).

Those frames were 50% off and my insurance covered $130 leaving me to pay $25 for the co-pay and $4 for the frame/lenses. After tax, it was $32 and some change.

The blue/black ones were my favorite, too. They were just a little too wide for her face, though. I think she'll be happy with these. They're plastic frames. The blue/black ones were metal.

Sooooo - which pair was her choice? Of course, they all look lovely on her lovely face. I think I like the pair with the blue in the back.

I had to go pick out a new pair yesterday too. Lordy - they are not cheap. I was able to get a 2 year scratch replacement. I will post a pic of my new ones when I get them.
