I am almost 70 and did not know until last night that it is JUKEBOX, not jutebox. (POPS told me) Google told us that it is a Creole word which comes from the place where blacks gathered for a drink and music in the olden days (Civil war era)

I loved the history on the 5 lb. note last night. That jute box was really neat too - that is what we listened to while having a hamburger when we were teens.
