I heard that you weren't coaching cross-country this year, and I am very upset. You are my favorite cross-country coach I have ever had and ever will... and I don't really want coach Shaffer to be my head coach either; I want you to be. Please, please, please, coach me and my friends. They all want you to coach, too. (list of names) Please coach me this year. Only one year - it can't hurt, can it?

Sorry to take all your spot light coach TD and thanks for the encouragement again!!!! If only I could stop the oil leak with my bare hands I think many many people would pay me a lot of money for that kinda power!!!

Tonight, he's doing his first TAB ride, too! We're meeting at my house at 5:50 and heading over to the University Trail parking on McCord Rd. I'll join him for that ride this week, then, next time, I'll take the faster (19 - 21 mph) option and leave him on his own.

Man it's getting tough to get noticed around here any more. With 'fer hogging all the headlines how's a guy supposed to get his 15 minutes of fame? He rides for 28 miles one day and then the next he runs for almost an HOUR straight! Combine that with a 15 pound weight loss it's hard to get any face time on this site. Next he'll be stopping that oil leak and wiping out those asian carp with his bare hands. GO 'fer!!!!!!!!

Update: As of Saturday, I have a list of over 20 potential runners. Most of those are "might run" rather than "will run". I've put out the word that I will coach if I have big teams.

By the last count, I have 12 girls and 5 boys. I'm recruiting this weekend at the festival.

Amy said she was going to hit you up for rosters so she could make some phone calls. She also volunteered her daughter to help recruit.
