Cross Country: My girls took second place with 40 points this morning. The winning team scored 15 and the third place team came in at 67 points. The boys team brought me a third place finish with 44 points. My chest hurts from this morning, but I'm not sure if it's from walking around so much, or from swelling with pride for the effort those kids put forth.
New Car: They found a Scion tC that's 275 miles away and they're sending someone to get it on Monday morning. The parts that I've ordered for it will arrive on Wednesday. So, I have the option of picking up the car on Monday and taking it back on Thursday to have the parts added, or I can wait and pick it up on Thursday. I don't want to see it before it's done, so I'm opting for the latter.
Injury: My chest is really hurting today (as mentioned above.) I'm pretty sure I did waaaaay too much this morning at the XC meet. At one point, I felt like I was going to pass out and I had to sit down for a few minutes. I've taken two naps since I got home and I still feel wiped out. Tomorrow, I'm taking it easy.
School: I still have to take a math test - the one that I planned on taking the day of the accident. Other than that, I'm ready for classes to start in 2 weeks. Nervous and excited, but ready.
