Tutorial Tuesday Test
2012-11-17
Tonight, Aimee and I are going to Mon Ami for their seafood buffet. I plan to eat the equivelant of my own weight for dinner. To prepare for this, I went for a ride this afternoon. Since I need to do the proposed Tutorial Tuesday TAB ride a few more times, I decided to do that route. It was a beautiful day with sunshine and temperatures in the low 50s. I had a great ride with only one bad pass.

Our first Tutorial Tuesday ride's tutorial will be two-fold. First, we'll talk about how to approach and cross tracks that cross the road at something other than a 90 degree angle. That's because there are two opportunities to practice this technique on the route. Second, because there are lots of hills, we'll talk about how to stand up on the bike without throwing/thrusting your bike backward and into the rider behind you. It can be done. We'll show you how in the spring.

This is an awesome route with very few stops along the way. I think we'll offer a full 25 mile route as well as a shorter 13 mile route. The 13 milers can meet us at Ft Meigs 15 minutes after the main ride starts. They can do the Maumee/Waterville loop and return to the fort as we continue on to Rossford.
