43 mile wander
2012-12-01
Today, I went for a little wander ride by myself. I had no idea how long I would ride or where I would end up, so I have to be satisfied with what I ended up with, right? Along the way, I think I may have found a new snowkiting spot provided by the new US24. It's at the end of a paved road to nowhere and there are a couple of nice hills that neighbor the Fallen Timbers Fairways Golf Course. Then, there's a new ditch that lines that road and ends in a circle. That ditch should be perfect for jumps. On the other side of Waterville Monclova Rd, there's a retention pond that's not fenced off. There's yet another retention pond on the south east of the US24 bridge over Waterville Monclova, but when I rode past today, that one was empty.

Oh, I also set a new record for KOM on the Harvard Circle Segment. Hurray for me!

Here's some pics of the potential snowkite spot. Below that, there's a map to the location.
