This year, they've blocked off the parking area so we had to park over by thewater tower. As we prepared to lug our gear across the road, a Perrysburg police SUV drove past. We thought for sure they'd stop and tell us that we can't use the soccer fields. They didn't. They just drove on by. Then, a few minutes into the session, another cop drove past and did nothing. We're good! We're 2-for-2 on cops leaving us alone!We took a break after about 3.5 miles of riding and got a drink. Then, the wind seemed to pick up a bit. We were really having a great session. At some point early-on, Eric and his daughter showed up and they wandered out into the field. Eric started snapping pictures with his Cannon EOS Rebel as his young daughter stood by looking cold and a little bored. They only stayed for 15 minutes or so, but he got some really good pictures of us! After our break, I landed my kite to take some pics of Ryan. As I walked over to secure my kite a guy walked over to me and asked me if I was aware that the land was privately owned. Of course, I had no idea, nor did I really care at the moment. He told us that it was private property and that he was the owner. He said we could stay for the rest of today, but that he didn't want us to use the facility, again.

Damn!
