And, this is what happens when that snow melts and we get several inches of rain.

Those two pictures are of Rossford Marina on the Maumee River. The marina walls are normally about 3 to 4 feet above the water. In those pictures, they're almost submerged.

On the way back from the marina, I had a detour because this moron lost his trailer in the middle of the road.

We had another cuddle alert here last night. I know this is a mild day up there but we woke to 34 this morning. I have not yet ventured out but will go for my walk while SOP goes to a meeting. Have a great day all.

'Cia - they flew out of Jacksonville.

Where were C&S flying out of? I flew out of Tampa this afternoon! Not very happy to be back. Weather wasn't great in FL this weekend but much better than here. It is cooooooold here.

We had a nice visit from Mary & Lyle arriving about 1/2 hour before CLiff & San. Had a warm enough afternoon we were able to sit on back porch till dinner time. I fed the gang chicken enchiladas with refried beans etc. Then Mary & Lyle left and Our local friends stopped in to meet Cliff. I served them tea, coffee and Amaretto Peach cheese pie - talk about good, even if I do brag up my own cooking. After Friends left, we just chatted for a bit and then we all hit the sack. C&S were on the road by 6:15 this morning. They are going to look around the area a bit before heading to the airport for a noon flight.
Must go to the mall to walk today as it is chilly here, but not COLD like up there. Luv - Ma

Ottawa park briings back memories of sledding with my boys. Happy days to be sure but I 'm happy now where there is no snow! I can't remember when the marina had that much water in it. I watched flood video from chanel 11 on the puter last night and makes me glad I'm not there
