Today, I went to one of BBCK's cheer competitions. This was the first one that I've been to since the competed at the Lucas County Fair. BBCK competed in 2 different types of performance. She cheered with the same squad as last summer, and she participated in a hip-hop-dance competition.
Her team finished in FIRST place (YOU GO GIRLS!) in the cheer competition and scored one of the highest overall scores for any of the dozens of teams that competed. The Dance team didn't have any competition... no... really... they were the only ones that competed in that category in her age group. So, that means that the dance team finished in FIRST PLACE too!

    BBCK's little sister fell asleep in my arms before I stuffed her between the bleacher seats. I have to say, BBCK's mom pushes out some cute kids.

    This entire tournament was dedicated to cancer research and the American Cancer Society. The Cheer Works girls were supporting one of the CheerWorks high school team member's mother. She has been suffering from cervical cancer and the teams cheered on her behalf. This picture is of another cancer survivor getting a little gift from the organizers.

    Thanks for asking, yes much better and had a productive dat after i shook the cobwebs out after all that snoo ze time. Be sure to say to your Pa-rent and enjoy his visit as I now he will enjoy being there. We enjoyed getting to know your rents last summer. Lots of love Nort-rent

    sopops...hope you are feeling better. I haven't been feeling well either. Dragging but nothing particular ailing me. I could sleep all day and that's not like me at all.

    I was in Buffalo Saturday/Sunday. Went to see some college friends for the night. It was a good time. Of course I had flight problems. Mine was cancelled because of the fog Saturday. It was pea soup up there (DTW).

    Thursday my Dad is arriving so he can help w/ my basement problems. I'm having the drain system installed on Monday. he's going to help me clean out the basement and supervise the job the contractors do. I also have some other things I would like him to do while he is here. Have to keep him busy while I'm at work! dad goes home the morning of feb 17 and I get more company beginning that evening. Ashley, my tampa friend/ex-roommate is coming. then friday evening my cousin lynette is coming. My cousin Lauren was going to come but her and her sister (Lynette) got a dog (Bichon) so Lor is going to stay home with the dog. She is the cutest thing I've ever seen. Looks like a stuffed animal. Penelope (the dog) is welcome to visit here and is very portable but they thought it was too soon.

    SOP was under the weather this morning but feels better now. Has gone to Home Depot for stuff he needs before he can wash the truck. He slept from 8 last night to about 10 this a\.m. Must feel better now as has a chore planned. Have to get that done before pool time. Nothing much new here - how about at your end? LUV - Ma-rent
