Castle Rock
2005-03-21
Tonight, I went to the library and picked up a Stephen King novel. I've resisted as long as I could. Now, from what I understand, it will be hard to stop.

I don't think I picked up the best book to start with. The one I picked was Needful Things. I didn't read the inner-flap until I was on my way out of the library. On that inner-flap, it says, "With a deamonic blend of malice and affection, Stephen King says goodbye to the town he put on the map - Castle Rock, Maine..." So, I suspect I'll need to know things about this town as I read the book that I would have known if I'd read the other books related to Castle Rock.

Oh well... we'll see how it goes. It didn't cost me anything and I can always start over with the first of the Castle Rock books.

Stephen King is not a favorite of mine. I read and saw Kujo but nothing else. My favorites are remantics - I guess that is cause that is the life I live.
